Princess Road, Malton  Time 07:23

Crews from Malton reported to an alarm sounding on Princess Road. This was confirmed as a false alarm due to cooking fumes.

Hookstone Drive, Harrogate  Time 08:02

A crew from Harrogate attended an alarm sounding on at Hookstone Drive. This was confirmed as a false alarm due to a system fault.

Foreshore Road, Scarborough  Time 10:28

Five appliances attended a fire reported on Foreshore Road. This was to a three storey property with fire spreading from cooking fryers in property to the roof. Police and Ambulance crews also attended he incident. Crews used breathing apparatus, hose reels, ladders, an aerial ladder platform, thermal image cameras, water jets and small tools to extinguish fire. With fire extinguished, crews sealed premises for further inspection later today.

Meadowfield, Aiskew  Time 10:41

A crew from Northallerton attended a fire alarm that sounded. This was confirmed as a false alarm from cooking fumes.

Church Square, Harrogate  Time 12:28

Following a report of a person trapped in a lift, crews from Harrogate attended and were able to use their lift keys to free one female who was trapped.

Church Lane, Weston Time 12:31

Crews from Harrogate and Ilkley attended an alarm sounding. This was confirmed as a false alarm due to a system fault.

Rowan Avenue, Filey Time 12:51

Appliances from Whitby and Filey reported to an automatic fire alarm sounding at a property in Filey. On arrival crews identified a fire on the ground floor of the two storey property. They extinguished the fire using breathing apparatus and hose reel jet. They were able to rescue a dog and a guinea pig but there were no persons in the property. Crews ventilated the building and made the area safe before leaving.

A170 Snainton  Time 13:01

Crews from Pickering and Huntington reported to a baler on fire in a field. Crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and made the area safe.  

Bank Wood Road, Womersley  Time 13:31

A report came in of a dog that had become trapped in a drain. An officer went to investigate and managed to release the dog and returned it to the owner.

Main Street, Embsay  Time 13:50

A Crew from Skipton went to a report of smoke that was seen off Main Street, Embsay. After investigation, this was confirmed as controlled burning.

Near Linton on Ouse Airfield  Time 15:12

A report came in of a suspected aircraft crash near to Linton on Ouse airfield. Crews from Acomb, Huntington, Selby and York investigated the area, but this was confirmed with Linton on Ouse Airfield as a false alarm.

Prospect Place, Harrogate  Time 15:46

Crews from Harrogate, Knaresborough and Ripon attended a report of fire to a property on Prospect Place. The fire was located in the boiler room of the property believed to have started from the electrical panel. Staff at the property had managed to put this out before the arrival of crews. Crews confirmed it was extinguished using their thermal image camera.

Cropton Forest, Pickering  Time 15:59

Crews from Pickering, Kirbymoorside and Danby attended reports of a fire on the moors. This was confirmed as controlled burning with staff on site.
