York Street, Selby  Time 08:23

A crew from Selby removed unsafe roofing tiles that were hanging from a roof over a pavement. Advice was then given to the occupier to arrange for repairs.

Moorside Dale, Ripon  Time 09:13

Crews from Ripon attended property were a fire had occurred to a plug socket at a residential property. The fire was out on arrival of the crews. After an inspection, the crews gave advice for an engineer to attend the property.

The Valley, Sandsend  Time 10:03

A young girl was released from a bathroom after becoming locked in. The girl was unharmed and reunited with parents.

A65, Settle  Time 11:54

A two vehicle road traffic collision between a car and van occurred today on the A65. The driver of the van was out of the vehicle when the fire crews arrived, but the driver of the car, female, needed releasing. Fire crews from Bentham and Settle used hydraulic cutting equipment to release the casualty who was then taken by air ambulance to hospital.

Margaret Street, York  12:51

Crews from York, Acomb, Huntington and Tadcaster attended a fire to an immersion heater. The fire did not spread and crews were able to extinguish it using breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet.

Silver Street, Masham  13:10

Crews from Masham and Bedale attended a chimney fire. Crews investigate the chimney from the hearth and used ladders to be able to extinguish the fire from the roof.
