2033 - Industrial Estate, Brompton-on-Swale

Fire crew from Richmond responded to reports of a large amount of smoke in the area. Crews found a large rubbish fire left unattended. Fire was extinguished using 1 hose reel and will be re-checked in the morning.

2039 - Sandringham Street, York

York crew attended a chimney fire, fire extinguished and will be inspected by day crew in the morning.

2141 - Brunswick Street, Whitby

Fire crew from Whitby diverted flood water away from properties after a burst water main. Manpower and small tools used.

0134 & 0210 - 2 Locations in Selby

Selby crews dealt with 2 bin fires, 1 on Micklegate and 1 on Abbey Walk. Both were thought to have been deliberately started and were extinguished using hose reels.

Various False Alarms

Fire crews attended a number of false alarms in Settle, Scarborough and Boroughbridge areas in the night.
