Habton Lane, Malton  Time 07:58

Crews from Pickering and Malton attended a chimney fire on Habton lane. When the crews arrived the chimney was well alight. They used their ladders first to remove the damaged chimney and pot. They were then able to extinguish the fire from the roof using a hose reel jet. The crew made the area safe by removing some extracting shards and gave advice to the owners before leaving.

Halfpenny House Lane, Clifton on Yore  Time 09:06

A property in Clifton on Yore had smoke coming from the chimney so our Masham crew attended. After checking the property over, the crew discovered the boiler was emitting the smoke and due to a build of soot in the flue, the smoke was filtering properly. The crews cleared the soot, gave advice and left the property with the owner.

Scalby Road, Scarborough  Time 09:15

Our Scarborough crews attended an alarm sounding on Scalby Road. This was confirmed as a false alarm due to water leaking in to the detector.

Percys Lane, York  Time 11:38

Our York crews attended an alarm sounding on Percys Lane. This was confirmed as a false alarm due to steam affecting the detector.

The Green, Crakehall   Time 13:41

Crews from Northallerton attended a report of smoke at a property in Crakehall. Crews arrived and investigated the premises and found that smoke had been drifting in from the neighbouring property. The crews gave advice to occupiers of both properties before leaving.

Alga Terrace, Scarborough  Time 14:54

Our Scarborough crew assisted the Police with entry into a property and to check for a water leak. No leak was found and the scene was left with the Police.

Scalby Road, Scarborough  Time 15:42

A driver had collided with a wall of building on Scalby Road. The vehicle had partially entered the building, but the driver was unharmed. Crews from Scarborough assisted the Police who were on the scene. They made the car safe and left the incident with the Police and the builders.
