Bus fire – A1036, Copmanthorpe Time of call: 1726 hours

Crews from Acomb and York have dealt with a coach on fire. They have used 4 breathing apparatus and 2 hosereel jets. 25% fire damage was caused to the coach. The cause is believed to be a faulty air con unit.

False alarm – Boroughbridge Road, Northallerton Time of call: 1807 hours

A crew from Northallerton has responded to a smoke alarm activation at a residential property. This was a false alarm due to cigarette smoke within the property.
