Acomb crew responded to a call from a male trapped in a park after the gates had been locked. Crews released him using bolt cutters.

 

Station Road, Grassington

Crews from Grassington and Skipton responded to a report of blown electrics and a hot light switch. They found that there was a copper pipe in the attic which had been leaking water onto electrics. Crews isolated water and electrics.

 

Bolton Road, Draughton

19:55

Skipton crews attended reports of a RTC involving one vehicle. They found that there were no persons trapped. The car was on its roof and the driver, a male aged approx. 30 was being assessed and treated by an ambulance responder. Crews disconnected battery and stabilised the vehicle before moving it to the side of the road.

Acomb crew responded to reports of a fire in a back garden. They found that this was a false alarm and was actually controlled burning.

 

Tupgill Park, Middleham

Leyburn crew attended an automatic fire alarm. They would that this was a false alarm due to a fault on the system.

 

Rose Avenue, Nether Poppleton

Acomb crew responded to reports of a pile of pallets of fire in the street. They extinguished using a wildfire backpack.

York crew responded to an automatic fire alarm. They found that this was a false alarm due to aerosol.

 

High Street, Pateley Bridge

Summerbridge crew responded to a call reporting a cat stuck in the engine of a car. They released the cat by removing a wheel, battery and battery box.

 

Falsgrave Road, Scarborough

A Scarborough crew attended reports of a recycling bin on fire. The cause is believed to be deliberate and was extinguished using a hose reel.

 

High Street, Harrogate

A Harrogate crew attended an automatic fire alarm activation. They found that this was a false alarm.
