False Alarm – Manor Close, Whitby

Time of call: 1706

A crew from Whitby attended a carbon monoxide detector activation at a residential property. They found that this was a false alarm due to a low battery.

Fire in open – Spurr Court, York

Time of call: 1723

A crew from Acomb attended reports of a fire in the open. They found that this was a small garden fire which was out on arrival and had involved some refuse bins. The cause is believed to have been deliberate.

Fire – St Monicas Garth, Easingwold

Time of call: 1756

A crew from Easingwold attended a fire at a residential property. They found that the fire was out on arrival and was due to cooking left unattended.

RTC – Church Hill, Easingwold

Time of call: 1852

A crew from Easingwold attended a RTC involving 2 vehicles. Ambulance were contacted for 2 casualties. Female aged in her 50s was still inside vehicle with neck pain and male aged in his 60s was out of vehicle. Female was given neck collar and first aid by crew whilst male was treated for shock by paramedics at scene. Female casualty was taken to hospital via road ambulance. Crews moved vehicles and made scene safe.

False Alarm – Walmgate, York

Time of call: 1947

A crew from York attended a report of 2 people locked in a van. They found that this was a false alarm due to the caller being confused.

False Alarm – Oughtershaw Road, Grassington

Time of call: 1948

A crew from Grassington attended an automatic fire alarm activation at a commercial property. They found this to be a false alarm due to paint fumes.

False Alarm – Thorpe Green Lane, Thorpe Underwood

Time of call: 0005

A crew from Boroughbridge attended an automatic fire alarm activation at a residential property. They found that this was a false alarm due to insects in the detector.

False Alarm – Gilling Road, Richmond

Time of call: 0244

A crew from Richmond was called to an automatic fire alarm activation. They found that this was a false alarm which had been caused by insects in detector.
