Beckwith Head Road, Harrogate

Time of call: 18:07

A crew from Harrogate have attended an automatic fire alarm. This was caused due to fumes from an aerosol can.

 

York Road, Knaresborough

Time of call: 18:23

A crew from Knaresborough have attended an automatic fire alarm. This was caused due to dust in the detector head.

 

Dalton Airfield Industrial Estate, Dalton

Time of call: 19:25

Crews from Boroughbridge, Knaresborough, Northallerton, Ripon and Thirsk have attended a fire in a food dryer. Crews used 8 breathing apparatus, 3 hose reel jets and small tools.

 

Barton le Willows, Malton

Time of call: 19:33

Crews from Malton and Huntington as well as the aerial ladder platform from Huntington have attended reports of a chimney fire. The fire was confided to the chimney breast and was believed to be caused by a build up of soot. Crews used an aerial ladder platform, 1 hose reel, chimney rods, salvage sheets and a thermal imaging camera.

A crew from Scarborough have attended an automatic fire alarm. On arrival their was no sign of fire and crews carried out an investigation.

 

South Cliff, Scarborough

Crews from Scarborough and Filey have attended reports of a kitchen fire in the South Cliff area of Scarborough. This was a false alarm good intent and was caused by cooking fumes.

 

Burgess Walk, York

A crew from York attended an automatic fire alarm. This was caused by a faulty detector head.

 

Farnham Lane, Farnham

A crew from Harrogate attended an automatic fire alarm. The fire was out on arrival of the Fire Service and crews used a thermal imaging camera to check for any hotspots.

 

Sturdy Court, Kirkbymoorside

Crews from Kirkbymoorside and Helmsley have attended reports of two scooters on fire which was affecting a nearby residential building. Due to the close proximity of the scooters to the building, the fire caused external damage to the building as well as activating smoke alarms inside the building. Crews carried out a search of the building to ensure the fire had not spread inside. Crews used 2 breathing apparatus and 1 hose reel jet.

A crew from Scarborough have attended reports of flooding that was effecting electrics in a property. Crews made the scene safe.

Stillington Road, Shutton-on-the-Forest

A crew from Huntington attended an automatic fire alarm. This was caused due to insects in the detector head.

 

Dent Head Viaduct.

A crew from Hawes assisted Cumbria Fire Service in rescuing a male trapped in a vehicle near Dent Head Viaduct. Crews used vehicle winch and stabilisation kit to make the vehicle secure.

A crew from Acomb attended an automatic fire alarm. This was caused due to a fault on the system.
