GREEN LANE, YORK 1808

Acomb crew attended reports of smoke sighted in the open. They found that this was a false alarm and was smoke from a generator.

MILLGATE, SELBY 2057

Selby attended reports of a fire in the open. They found that this was controlled burning under supervision.

CRAB LANE, HARROGATE 0021

Harrogate and Knaresborough crews responded to reports of a fire in the loft of a property. They found that this was due to an electrical fault, insulation issue and a piece of carpet’s proximity to a lighting unit. Crews extinguished. There was approx 10 square metres of insulation, 5 metres of ceiling joists and a small piece of carpet damaged.

HERMAN WALK, YORK 0327

Acomb crews responded to an automatic fire alarm activation. They found that this was a false alarm due to a fault on the system.

BANKS ROAD, BROMPTON 0357

Northallerton crew responded to reports of a car on fire in Brompton. They found that there had been a Mazda on fire. the cause is believed deliberate and there was 100% fire damage to the vehicle. Crews left with police.
