Church Street, Whitby

A crew from Whitby attended a bin on fire outside a public house on Church Street. They extinguished the fire using one hose reel and they belived the cause of the fire to be accidental.

A crew from Huntington responded to a fire alarm sounding after further investigation the crews discovered the alarm was sounding due to a fault on the system.

A crew from Huntington responded to a fire alarm sounding after further investigation the crews discovered the alarm was sounding due to dust in the system.

 

 

White Street, Selby

Two crews from Selby attended a fire in a kitchen on White Street. On arrival they discovered there had been a fire in a cooker which had caused light fire damage to the cooker and also light smoke damage to the property. Crews checked with a thermal imaging camera, fitted smoke alarms for the occupant and gave advice.

A crew from York and Acomb were called to a fire in a derelict property. The fire was a combination of rubbish and wood. Crews used two hose reels and one main jet to extinguish. The cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate.

 

Yafforth Road, Northallerton

Two crews from Northallerton attended a care home who had reported their fire alarm was sounding. On arrival it was discovered the alarm was sounding due to a faulty system.

 

A19, Easingwold

A crew from Easingwold were called to reports of a large fire in the open. This was a false alarm good intent as the owner of the land was with the fire and carrying out controlled burning.

 

Lancaster Park Road, Harrogate

A crew from Harrogate responded to an alarm sounding at a commercial property. The cause of the alarm was unknown.
