17.54  Great Ayton Nr Stokesley

Fire crews from Stokesley attended a domestic property in Great Ayton where a chy was on fire. The crew used various ladders and chy equipment to extinguish the fire.

Advice was given to the owners of the property.


18.06 Jesmond Road, Harrogate

Fire crews from Harrogate were called to a domestic property where the occupant was concerned about a possible cooker fire. Crews were able to investigate the reports and confirmed the cooker was not on fire. The appliance had been affected by a water leak and this had caused it to spark. Crews made property safe and gave advice.


18:20 Wiganthorpe, Malton

Crews attended a property with fire to curtains in living room, cause believed to be from heat from a standard lamp. 1 person treated for smoke inhalation and minor burns to hands.


18:44 Hurgill Road, Richmond

Chimney fire in property due to accumulation of soot in flue. Crews used a chimney kit, roof ladder, hose reel and 13.5 metre ladder to extinguish fire.


22:34 Yorkersgate, Malton

Chimney fire extinguished by crews using Aerial Ladder Platform, Hose Reel and Hearth Kit. Believed to be caused by accumulation of soot.
