False Alarm– Harwood Road, York

Time: 1934

Crews from Acomb  were called to an automatic fire alarm activation. They believe that this was a false alarm as they were unable to gain access to the commercial property due to lack of keyholder. A full external inspection was carried out.

False Alarm – Saxon Road, Catterick Garrison

Time: 2027

A crew from Colburn attended reports of a fire alarm sounding at a residential property. They believe that this was a false alarm due to faulty equipment as there was no sign of fire and the alarm had been sounding for some time.

Vehicle Fire – A19 South Kilvington

Time:  20:38

Crews from Northallerton and Thirsk attended.  Fire to a horse box which was completely destroyed, horse and occupants unharmed,, 4 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reels and 1 foam branch was used

False Alarm – Clotherholme Road Ripon

Time: 22:24

A crew from Ripon were called to an automatic fire alarm sounding, this was due to aerosol, inspection only, advice given.

False Alarm – GrantleyTime: 0546

A crew from Ripon attended an automatic fire alarm activation. They waited for a keyholder but were unable to gain access. They carried out a full external investigation and found there to be no sign of fire. Believed false alarm, cause unknown.
