Incident Summary –  Night Shift 28th July

Toc:  1900 hours – Automatic Fire Alarm, Commercial Premises, Ripon Road, Harrogate.  Harrogate Crew attended.  Cause maintenance issues.

Toc:  1945 hours – Automatic Fire Alarm, Commercial Premises, Hospital Fields Road, York. York Crew attended.  Cause of alarm air freshener.

Toc:  1949 hours – Automatic Fire Alarm, Portholme Court, Selby.  Selby Crew attended.  Cause of alarm system fault.

Toc:  2049 hours – Smoke in Area, Primrose Valley, Scarborough.  Filey Crew attended.  Cause of smoke, bonfire left attended.  Crews used 1 hose reel jet.

Toc:  2202 hours – Automatic Fire Alarm, Spa Complex, Scarborough. Scarborough Crews attended.  Cause of alarm, fault on system.

Toc:  2211 hours – Tree on fire, Near the University, Broadway, York.  York Crews attended. 2 seats of fire in undergrowth, crews used 1 hose reel and a pitchfork to deal with the fire. 

Toc:  2257 hours –  Road Traffic Collision, Near Harton Lodge, York Road, Harton.  Huntington and York attended.  One vehicle had left the road, 1 female casualty not trapped but assisted from vehicle by Fire Service using triple extension ladder and manpower.

Toc:  2328 hours – Automatic Fire Alarm, Commercial Premises, Green Smithy, Mewith Lane, Low Bentham.  Bentham Crew attended.  Cause of alarm fault on system.

Toc:  0031 hours – Automatic Fire Alarm, Residential Premises, Briggs Street, York.  York Crew attended. Cause of alarm insects in detector head.

Toc:  0608 hours – Automatic Fire Alarm, Commercial Residential Premises, Esplanade, Scarborough.  Scarborough Crews attended.  Cause of alarm burnt toast.
