YOUNGS YARD, RICHMOND 1831

Richmond crew attended an automatic fire alarm activation. They found that this was a false alarm due to cooking fumes.

 DALTON OLD AIRFIELD INDUSTRIAL ESTATE, DALTON 1931

Thirsk crew responded to an automatic fire alarm activation. They found that this was a false alarm due to a faulty detector.

 VALLEY BRIDGE, SCARBOROUGH 1941

Scarborough crew responded to a call from the police of a road traffic collision (RTC). They found that there were no persons trapped and carried out scene safety by moving the vehicle to the side of the road using a winch. the incident was left with the police and recovery vehicle.

 A1237, KNAPTON 2025

Acomb crews attended reports of a 2 vehicle road traffic collision with persons trapped. They found that there were 2 persons trapped inside one vehicle and released them using hydraulic cutting equipment.

 PASTURE LANE, EASINGWOLD 2204

Boroughbridge crew attended a chimney fire. They located the heat source and extinguished.

 DALTON OLD AIRFIELD INDUSTRIAL ESTATE, DALTON 2211

Thirsk crew attended an automatic fire alarm activation. They were unable to locate the source of the alarm activation and believe this to be a false alarm due to a fault on the system.

Crews from Knaresborough, Ripon and Harrogate attended a single vehicle road traffic collision where a van had left the road with the male driver trapped inside. Crews extricated one male via roof removal and he was transported to hospital via road ambulance with minor injuries for further checks.

 WIGGINTON ROAD, YORK 2352

York crew responded to an automatic fire alarm activation. They found that this was a false alarm due to burnt toast.

 SWAN COURT, YORK 0039

York crew responded to an automatic fire alarm activation. They were unable to gain access to premises so carried out a full external inspection of property finding no sign of fire. They believe this to be a false alarm with cause unknown.

MAIN STREET, HOVINGHAM 0041

Crews from Helmsley and Malton responded to reports of an outbuilding on fire. They found that this had been caused by an electrical fault on a washing machine. this caused 50% fire damage to the building. Crews extinguished using 2 hose reel jets.

WIGGINTON ROAD, YORK 0458

Crews from York and Huntington responded to an automatic fire alarm activation. They found this to be a false alarm due to dust.
