SCARBOROUGH CREWS RESPONDED TO REPORTS OF A POSSIBLE CHIMNEY FIRE. THEY FOUND THAT THIS WAS A FALSE ALARM AND THAT RADIATED HEAT FROM A GAS FIRE WAS CAUSING THE INTERNAL BRICK WORK TO HEAT UP. CREWS ISOLATED THE FIRE AND GAVE ADVICE TO HAVE THE GAS FIRE CAPPED OFF BY A GAS ENGINEER.

YORK CREW RESPONDED TO AN AUTOMATIC FIRE ALARM ACTIVATION. THEY FOUND THAT IT WAS A FALSE ALARM DUE TO AN ACCIDENTAL ACTIVATION OF A BREAK GLASS POINT.

YORK AND ACOMB CREWS RESPONDED TO REPORTS OF SMOKE FROM A PROPERTY WINDOW. THEY FOUND THAT THIS WAS A FALSE ALARM AND WAS ACTUALLY STEAM FROM A BOILER.
