Fire in Open – Chapel Street, Thirsk

Time of call: 1822 hours

A crew from Thirsk has responded to a fire in the open. The fire was a rubbish fire with the cause believed to be accidental.

 False Alarm – Brook Street, York

Time of call: 1912 hours

A crew from York attended an automatic fire alarm activation. They found that this was a false alarm due to cooking fumes. 

False Alarm – Percys Lane, York

Time of call: 1926 hours

A crew from Acomb attended an automatic fire alarm activation. They found that this was a false alarm due to steam from a shower.

 False alarm – Blakey Lane, Thirsk

Time of call: 2110 hours

A crew from Thirsk has been called to a sighting of fire near a garden centre on Blakey Lane. They found that this was a false alarm and was controlled burning under supervision.

 False Alarm – Melmerby Industrial Estate, Ripon

Time of call: 0535 hours

A crew from Ripon attended an automatic fire alarm activation. They found that this was a false alarm due to insects in the detector head.
