Incident Summary Night Shift Friday 7th July

7th July 2017

Property Fire – Caedmon Close, York

Time of call: 21:09

Appliances from York and Acomb attended this incident and extinguished a well developed kitchen fire using 4 breathing apparatus and 2 hose reel jets.  Both occupants in the house were out on arrival of the fire crews but were suffering from the affects of smoke inhalation, crews administered first aid and oxygen until the arrival of ambulance crews.

Appliances from Scarborough attended and confirmed this was a false alarm.

Appliances from York and Acomb attended this incident and extinguished a chip pan fire in the kitchen of a first floor flat, crews used 2 breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet to extinguished.
