A crew from Selby attended reports of a small fire in the open. On arrival crews discovered a small rubbish fire which they extinguished using one hose reel. The cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate.



High Street, Tadcaster

A crew from Tadcaster attended a smoke alarm sounding in a commercial premises. They discovered the alarm was sounding due to dust in the detector.



Dene Park, Harrogate

Two crews from Harrogate and one from Knaresborough attended a flat which a neighbour of an elderly female had reported her smoke alarm sounding. On arrival crews discovered fumes from microwave had caused the alarm to sound in the property.



School Lane, York


Time of call 02:55


A crew from York attended a property due to the smoke alarm sounding. Crews carried out full check of property and believed the cause of the alarm was a fault on the system.
