Rubbish fire – Water End, York

Time of call: 1648 hours

A crew from Acomb has dealt with a fire in the open involving old railway sleepers. The cause is believed to be deliberate and 1 hose reel and a short extension ladder was used.

 

False alarm – A162, Sherburn in Elmet

Time of call: 1726 hours

A crew from Tadcaster has investigated reports of smoke coming from a drain. A full search of the area was carried out but no incident was located.

 

Rubbish fire – Main Street, Little Ouseburn

Time of call: 1743 hours

A crew from Boroughbridge was called to reports of a fire in the garden of a domestic property. The small rubbish fire was out on our arrival. The cause is believed to be deliberate.

 

Hedge fire – Rose Hill Drive, Stokesley

Time of call: 1818 hours

A crew from Stokesley has dealt with a fire involving a conifer hedge approximately 20m by 2m. The cause is believed to be deliberate and they used 2 hose reels to extinguish.

 

Bin fire – Market Place, Harrogate

Time of call: 2020 hours

A crew from Harrogate has dealt with a trade waste bin on fire behind a commercial property. The cause is believed to be deliberate and they used 1 hose reel.

 

False alarm – Boroughbridge Road, Northallerton

Time of call: 2050 hours

A crew from Northallerton has responded to a smoke alarm activation in a commercial property. This was a false alarm due to a fault on the detection system.

 

False alarm – Duke Street, Settle

Time of call: 2125 hours

A crew from Settle has responded to a smoke alarm activation in a residential property. This was a false alarm due to a fault in the detection system.

 

Making safe – Harlow Crescent, Harrogate

Time of call: 0015 hours

A crew from Harrogate has been called to a residential property to make safe an electric fire in a domestic property.  Manpower was used to assist the resident with isolating the power to the fire.

 

False alarm - Stirling Road, York

Time of call: 0504 hours

A crew from Huntington has responded to a smoke alarm activation in a commercial property. This was a false alarm due to an unknown fault.

 

False alarm – Heslington Road, York

Time of call: 0543 hours

A crew from York has responded to a smoke alarm activation in a commercial property. This was a false alarm due to a fault on the detection system.
