False alarm – Leeds Road, Harrogate

Time of call: 1933 hours

A crew from Harrogate has responded to a smoke alarm activation in a residential property. This was a false alarm due to cooking fumes.

Small fire – Millfield Lane, York

Time of call: 2258 hours

A crew from York has dealt with a push bike on fire. The bike suffered slight fire damage to its tyres only. The cause was deliberate and the crew used 1 hose reel.

False alarm – Clarence Drive, Harrogate

Time of call: 0026 hours

A crew from Harrogate has responded to a smoke alarm activation in a residential property. This was a false alarm due to an audible intruder alarm being mistaken for a smoke alarm.

Water leak – Flowergate, Whitby

Time of call: 0219 hours

A crew from Whitby has dealt with a water leak in a residential property. This was a small leak from an upstairs toilet into the room below. Manpower only was used to isolate the water supply.

False alarm – Wains Road, York

Time of call: 0443 hours

2 crews from Acomb and York have been called to a smell of burning coming from a residential property. This was a false alarm due to fumes from cooking.
