Incident Summary, night shift Tuesday 17th July

TOC 17:05 Poplar Grove

A crew from Harrogate provided assistance to a male who had fallen until arrival of an ambulance

TOC 17:27 Skipton

A crew from Skipton attended report of a fire in the open, this was found to be controlled burning under supervision

TOC 17:42 Clifton Backies, Acomb

A crew from Acomb extinguished a fire in the open using one hose reel jet.

TOC 17:43 Osbaldwick, York

Crews from York and Acomb attended a report of a caravan on fire, this was found to be controlled burning under supervision

TOC 19:36 Mill Lane, Tadcaster

A crew from Tadcaster extinguished a fire in the open using knapsack sprayers, they also administered oxygen to a teenager with slight smoke inhalation as a result of trying to put out the fire.

TOC 03:40 New Earswick

Huntington and York crews attended reports of a tractor on fire. On arrival crews located a small tractor with a small amount of fire damage to wiring. The fire was out on arrival and crews made the vehicle safe before leaving the incident with police

Automatic Fire Alarms

Crews across the county have attended various reports of automatic fire alarms sounding, none of these were the due to fire.
