False alarm – Croft Close, Easingwold

Time of call: 1901 hours

A crew from Easingwold has responded to a smoke alarm activation in a domestic property. This was a false alarm due to cooking fumes.

Malicious false alarm – Bad Bargain Lane, York

Time of call: 1943 hours

A crew from York has responded to a smoke alarm activation in a commercial property. This was a malicious false alarm due to the deliberate activation of an alarm point by youths.

Road traffic collision – Buttersyke roundabout, A61, Pannal

Time of call: 2007 hours

2 crews from Harrogate have assisted at a road traffic collision involving an Audi A6 and a Ford Ka. 1 female was trapped in her vehicle. She was extricated by fire crews using hydraulic cutting gear and taken to hospital with chest injuries. Another female, although not trapped in the vehicle, was taken to hospital with abdominal injuries.

Road traffic collision – Langton Road, Norton, Malton

Time of call: 2029 hours

2 crews from Malton have assisted at a road traffic collision involving a Peugeot 206 which had collided with 2 parked cars: a Toyota Rav4 and a Suzuki Alto. The driver was out of the vehicle on our arrival and suffered minor injuries. Fire crews made the vehicles safe and left then incident in the hands of the Police.

Malicious false alarm – Stepney Road, Scarborough

Time of call: 2346 hours

A crew from Scarborough has responded to a smoke alarm activation in a residential property. This was a false alarm due to the malicious activation of a manual call point.
