Time of call: 17:12


A crew from Tadcaster extinguished tree clippings by use of a hosereel. Cause – controlled burning left unattended.



Time of call: 17:14


A crew from Acomb extinguished some hedging with a hosereel after a brazier had been placed too close.



Time of call: 00:20


A crew from Scarborough responded to a fire alarm activation with the cause being unknown.



Time of call: 01:19


A crew from York attended an alarm activation in student accommodation which was found to be due to a malicious deliberate call point activation.



Time of call: 01:30


A crew from Scarborough responded once more to the same premises as at 00:20, to a fire alarm activation with the cause being smoke from cigarettes in a flat, with the female occupant on this occasion being arrested by Police on suspicion of making numerous unnecessary 999 calls.
