Incident Summary Night Shift Wednesday 21st June

22nd June 2017

Automatic Fire Alarm – Didsbury Close, York

Time of call: 20:42

An appliance from Acomb attended and found that the activation was due to a wooden knife block that had been left on top of a cooker which had been switched on accidently, the was no fire damage sustained.  Crews used a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the flat of smoke.

 

Vehicle Fire – Park Street, Selby

Time of call: 21:54

An appliance from Selby attended and extinguished the fire using 2 breathing apparatus and 1 hose reel jet.

 

Wooden bench on fire – Cecil Street, Harrogate

Time of call: 22:21

An appliance from Harrogate attended and extinguished the fire using a hose reel jet.

 

Motorbike on fire – Moss Street, York

Time of call: 01:14

An appliance from York attended this incident and extinguished the fire using a bucket of water.

 

Automatic Fire Alarm – St Marys Walk, Harrogate

Time of call: 03:40

An appliance attended and confirmed this was a false alarm.
