17:51  Boroughbridge Road, Northallerton

Crew from Northallerton attended and extinguished a bin fire using buckets of water. Believed cause due to carelessly discarded smoking materials.

18:02  Haxby Road, York

Police requested assistance to extinguish a fire to a small gas canister. On arrival of crews from the local area, the fire was out, inspection only.

19:59  Westerdale, Whitby area

A crew from Danby were called to an automatic fire alarm signal at a residential property. On arrival there was no sign of fire, crews carried out thorough investigations and confirmed this to be a false alarm due to a system fault.

21:03 Station Road, Thirsk

Thirsk crew were called out to reports of a tree stump on fire. On arrival, crews found this to be an old fence post. The fire was extinguished using a bucket of water. The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
