 Walburn  Time 07:03

Crews from Reeth and Leyburn attended a boiler room where a water pressurising system began smoking. The crews investigated and found that a bearing on the system had overheated, but it had not caused damage to anything else. The crews made the area safe before leaving with site with the owners.

 Shipton Road, Skelton  Time 11:49

 A crew from Acomb attended a property where two persons had become trapped in a lift. The crews were able to release them using their lift key.

 Elvington Lane, Elvington  Time 13:13

 Crews from Huntington and York went to a poultry shed that had a fire but the owner wasn’t certain they had managed to extinguish it themselves. Crews investigate the shed and were happy that the fire was out and it is believed to have started from a faulty electric heater.

 York Road, Steeton  Time 14:27

A Ford Focus on was on fire at a service station which crews from Tadcaster attended. When the crews arrived the vehicle was well alight and they used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. It’s believed the fire started due to the brakes overheating. The crews made the area safe before leaving the vehicle with the owner.

Woodlands Drive, Scarborough  Time 15:11

A crew from Scarborough went to a car that was leaking oil following a road traffic collision at the request of the Police. When the crews arrived they disconnected the battery to the car and made the scene safe for the Police crews on site. The incident was then left with the Police.

High Street to Egton Cliff, Egton  Time 16:20

Crews from Danby and Lythe attended a property where the occupier was unsure if they had managed to extinguish a fire to their fan heater. When the crews arrived they confirmed the fire was extinguished and they removed the heater from the building for safety.

Sutton Road, Wigginton  Time 16:51

A crew from Huntington investigated a report of a fire in the open. The crews discovered a bonfire that was under control with the responsible persons at the scene. The crews gave safety advice before leaving.
