Chatham Road, Ripon  Time 08:05

Sparks were seen coming from light fittings and a burning smell noticed in a building on Chatham Road. A crew from Ripon attended and found a burst pipe leaking water onto  electrics. The crew isolated the water and electrics for the occupiers and engineer is due to attend.  

Peppermint Way, Selby  Time 09:44

A person was released by a crew from Selby after becoming trapped in a shed.

Beulah Terrace, Scarborough  Time 09:59

Doors to a building became stuck and residents were unable to open them due to weather conditions. A crew from Scarborough attended and were able to open the doors using small tools.

Primrose Valley, Filey  Time 11:25

Due to weather conditions a resident’s roof was coming away from the building. A crew from Filey attended and have secured it temporarily.

A169, Malton  Time 12:04

An officer assisted Police with clearing a road of vehicles after a snow drift brought traffic to a halt.

Main Street, Staveley  Time 12:23

Crews from Ripon went to a tree that had fallen and come to rest against a building. The remaining part of the tree was unstable and it has now been referred to the council and Police.

Ramshil Road, Scarborough  Time 12:50

Our Sherburn crew have attended property where a large piece of lead was hanging from the roof due to the weather conditions. The area has been cordoned off and the incident has been referred to the councils building control.

Keighley Road, Skipton  Time 13:28

Our crews from Skipton attended chimney fire on Keighley Road.

Broughton Road, Skipton  Time 14:09

The roof of a building had become unsafe due to weather conditions. An officer attended to assess the building.

Abbots Road, Selby  Time 14:45

A fire started in a wall cavity at a property on Abbots Road. Crews from Selby and Snaith attended and investigated the wall using thermal image cameras before exposing the cavity by removing bricks. The crews then extinguished the fire using hose reel jets.
