Carleton Road, Skipton - Time of call 17:34

Skipton fire crews responded to an automatic fire alarm activation at a residential property. This was a false alarm caused by a system fault.

Drax Road, Drax - Time of call 18:31

Fire crews from Selby responded to a car accident involving a single car – Volvo that skidded over onto its roof. No people were trapped or badly injured. The Fire crews assisted Police and Ambulance at the scene and made the vehicle safe.

Grange Lane Play Area, near Askham Lane, York - Time of call 18:58

Acomb fire crew attended a fire involving children’s playground equipment. The cause of fire is believed to be deliberate. Crews extinguished fire using knapsack sprayers.

Greenwood Grove, Acomb - Time of call 22:03

Fire crew from Acomb responded to reports of a fire in the open, Crew confirmed this was controlled burning under supervision.

Outside B&Q, Oak Beck Road, Harrogate - Time of call 22:13

Harrogate crew attended a skip on fire; cause of fire was believed to be deliberate. Crews used one hose reel to extinguish fire.

Belle Vue Terrace, Broughton Road, Skipton - Time of call 22:18

Two Skipton appliances responded to a kitchen fire at a residential property. Fire started in kitchen and was confined to a chair, it is believed to have been started deliberately. Crews used a bucket of water to extinguish the fire. No people were injured.

Hamerton Road, Filey - Time of call 23:10

Filey fire crew attended an automatic fire alarm activation at a domestic property. This was a false alarm caused by a system fault.

Brickworks, Forest Lane, Alne - Time of call 00:37

Easingwold fire crews were mobilised to reports of a large amount of smoke sighted near commercial premises. This was a false alarm due to it being steam coming from a dryer on a brick yard.

Hungate York - Time of call 01:47

Fire crew from York attended an automatic fire alarm activation at a residential premises. This was a false alarm caused by a fault on the system.

Station Road, Thirsk – Time of call 02:12

Crews from Thirsk, Northallerton, Ripon and Boroughbridge responded to reports of a smell of gas in a commercial property. This was a false alarm good intent no gas located in premises.
