 Please see below a round up of incidents from Wednesday 18th April Day Shift.

In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names, for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.


Beechwood Croft, Sherburn in Elmet  Time 08:42

A crew from Tadcaster went to reports of aerosol cans being set alight near to chemically labelled bins. When the crews the arrived the fire was out on their arrival and no action was required.

Grove Park Court, Harrogate  Time 09:57

An officer attended vehicle that was leaking fuel. No action was required with AA in attendance.

Station Road, York Time 13:31

A crew from Huntington released a male who was trapped in a lift using hand tools.

Burythorpe, Malton  Time 16:01

Crews from Malton and Huntington attended a report of smoke coming from the top floor of a residential building. Crews investigated using a thermal image camera but found no signs of fire. The crews gave safety advice to the owners before leaving.


In addition to the above incidents our Fire crews attended automatic fire alarm calls in York, Malton and Scarborough.  All were false alarms.
