Incident Summary Wednesday 11th April Night Shift




Please see below a round up of incidents from Wednesday 11th April Night Shift




In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names, for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.




Siward Street, York  Time 1752




An electrical cable was damaged at a property in York and began smoking. Crews from York and Huntington attended and isolated the electrics. No fire was found and the crews gave safety advice to the occupiers.




Cawood, Selby  Time 19:01




Crews from Selby attended a property where a kitchen was on fire. The fire damaged the room above also and caused smoke damage throughout the property. Crews extinguished the fire using four sets of breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets.




Hutton Rudby, Stokesley  Time 20:22




An electrical transformer was on fire in a field. Crews from Stokesley and Yarm attended and monitored the fire which self extinguished. The crews left the incident with electrical engineers on site.
