Cartlon Road, Helmsley  Time 12:15




Crews from Kirbymoorside and Helmsley attended a report of fire to a property on Carlton road. The crews arrived and investigated the area but found no signs of fire. The smoke alarm was sounding but it is believed to have gone off due to an accumulation of dust.




Moor Lane, Broughton  Time 13:54




Crews from Malton and Pickering attended a house fire in Broughton. Crews arrived to find a stone building which had smoke issuing from it. Using breathing apparatus, the crews identified a microwave that had been on fire in the kitchen. The crews ventilated the property by opening windows. The female occupant who was out on arrival of the crews was suffering from smoke inhalation, but after oxygen treatment from the crews, she was feeling well again.
