Incident Summary Day Shift Friday 30th November 2018

In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names, for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

 

 

 

Harrogate – Time of call 08:34

 

 

 

Harrogate crews responded to an automatic alarm activation. This was a false alarm due to engineers working on the system.

 

 

 

Eslack, Skipton – Time of call 09:50

 

 

 

Skipton crews responded to a fire on a consumer unit. Fire out on arrival of Fire Service, crews removed fuse using electrical gloves and inspected with thermal imaging camera.

 

 

 

York – Time of call 10:16

 

 

 

Crews from Acomb and York responded to a single vehicle road traffic collision into a wall in York. 2 females released from vehicle by ambulance crews and taken to hospital. Crews assisted with stabilising and making vehicle safe using vehicle wench and stabilising blocks.

 

 

 

Whitley Bridge – Time of call 10:29

 

 

 

Crews from Selby, Tadcaster and Pontefract responded to a van fire at junction 34 on the M62. Crews extinguished the fire using 1 hose reel jet and 1 breathing apparatus.

 

 

 

Nether Poppleton – Time of call 10:35

 

 

 

Crews from Huntington attended a fuel leak onto a forecourt of a fuelling station. On site staff used absorbent materials to clear fuel. No action from Fire service.

 

 

 

Harrogate – Time of call 11:38

 

 

 

Crews from Harrogate responded to an automatic alarm activation, this was a false alarm due to cooking fumes.

 

 

 

York – Time of call 12:23

 

 

 

Crews from Acomb and York responded to a grill pan fire in a residential property, fire out on arrival and inspected my crews.

 

 

 

York – Time of call 13:35

 

 

 

Crews from York responded to people stuck in a lift at a commercial property. Crews released using small tools.

 

 

 

Scarborough – Time of call 16:24

 

 

 

Scarborough crews responded to an automatic alarm activation at a residential property. This was a false alarm.
