In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names, for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

Catterick – time of call 08:50

Richmond crews responded to a female with a finger stuck on her finger, released using ring cutters.

Scalby Road, Scarborough – Time of call 09:36

Scarborough crews responded to an alarm activation, this was a false alarm caused by a fault on the system.

Keighley – Time of call 11:49

Crews from Skipton responded to an alarm activation, this was a false alarm caused by dust from workmen.

Kingsway North York – Time of call 12:09

Crews from Acomb responded to an alarm activation, this was a false alarm due to insects in the detector head

High Street Whitby – Time of call 12:32

Whitby crews responded to a female who has slipped down a verge and bceome stuck under a car. Crews released the lady using airbags and stabilization equipment.

Larpool Lane, Whitby – Time of call 15:15

Whitby crews responded to an alarm activation, this was a false alarm caused by a system fault. 

Borrage Green Lane Ripon – Time of call 16:20

Crews from Ripon attended a small camp fire in the open. Crews extinguished using knapsack sprayer.
