Incident Summary Night Shift Friday 18th May 2018

Please see below a round up of incidents.

In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names, for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

Fire alarm – Whitby

Time of call 19:01

Crews were called to an automatic fire alarm at a domestic premises. This was a false alarm.

House fire – Humberside

Time of call 19:25

2 crews from Selby assisted Humberside’s fire crews with a house fire. No persons were injured.

 Fire alarm – Middleton Tyas

Time of call 19:49

Crews were called to a fire alarm sounding at a domestic property. This was a false alarm.

Fire – Scarborough

Time of call 20:02

Crews were called to reports of a bench on fire and used a knapsack sprayer and small tools to remove panels to ensure the fire was fully extinguished.

Fire- York

Time of call 20:19

Crews were called to what was believed to be a fire in the open. Upon investigation the crews were able to confirm that this was in fact controlled burning.

Fire – York

Time of call 21:12

A crew from Acomb responded to a fire in a garden. This turned out to be controlled burning.

Fire - Skipton

Time of call 21:23

A crew from Skipton was called to a bin on fire outside a restaurant. The fire was out on arrival.

Car fire – Harrogate

Time of call 22:39

Crews attended a car that was well alight following a RTC. Crews used two breathing apparatus and two hose reels. No casualties at incident.

Fire alarm – Scarborough

Time of call 23:53

Crews were called to a fire alarm sounding . This was a false alarm.

RTC – Pickering

Time of call 01:18

Crews responded to calls of two people trapped in a vehicle following a road traffic collision. The occupants were out on arrival and were left in care of ambulance crew.

Motorbike fire – York

Time of call 01:51

A fire crew from Acomb attended this incident and extinguished the fire using a hose reel jet and dry powder extinguisher.
