Man released from Boat at Acaster Malbis

18th July 2015


River Ouse, Hauling Lane, Acaster Malbis

Fire Engines from York and Tadcaster together with the Heavy Rescue Unit attended a boat moored on the River Ouse at Acaster Malbis.  The male occupier of the boat had slipped and had become trapped between the engine and hull of the boat.  Crews managed to release him using manpower and he was checked over by paramedics but did not require any treatment.
