Moor Fire - Hauxwell Moor

Location: Newfound England area, Range Road, Alma Barracks, Catterick

Crews from Leyburn and Colburn were initially mobilised to reports of a fire sighted near the Newfound England area, upon arrival crews made up for a further 2 appliances which were mobilised from Richmond and Reeth along with a Water Bowser from Boroughbridge.

Approximately 7500square meters of moorland and tree plantation damaged by fire, crews used 8 hose reel jets, beaters and 2 breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire.

The last appliance left this incident at around 13:42
