Motorcyclist Injured, Escrick

Location:  Wheldrake Lane, Escrick

Fire Control received a request for assistance to a motorcyclist who had come off their motorcycle and was trapped under a mobile cabin.  Fire engines from York and Acomb were sent.  On arrival the crews used airbags, stabilisation blocks and drizzit pads to release the casualty from under the cabin.

The male casualty was taken to hospital via air ambulance with multiple serious, but non life threatening injuries.
