17:29 Near to Yorkshire Lavender, Malton
A crew attended a fire to approximately 20x50m of grassland. Crews used two hose reels and pitchforks. The cause is believed to have been controlled burning that got out of control
17:44 Westborough, Scarborough
A crew attended a small fire to a bin, believed to have been caused by a dropped light. One hose reel jet was used to put the fire out
18:25 Leeds and Liverpool Canal, Kildwick
A crew from Skipton used manpower to rescue a sheep that was stuck on a bank
18:41 Settle
A crews attended a bin of fire which is believed to have been caused by a discarded BBQ. One hose reel jet was used on the fire
19:38 Filey
Crews attend a fire to a shed, and used a hose reel jet. The cause is believed to be an electrical fault
19:45 Tadcaster
Crews attended reports of cables on fire, this turned out to be sparking of cables and no action was required by the fire service. The incident was left with Northern Power Grid and North Yorkshire Police
20:20 Main Road, Selby
Crews were requested to attend a road traffic collision involving a car and a tree. However, on their arrival they were not required.
21:04 Jennyfield Drive, Harrogate
A crew attended a alarm sounding this was a false alarm
21:20 Fossway, York
A crew attended a person locked out of their house who required medication. Crews used a 9 metre ladder and a roof ladder to gain entry to the property.
21:52 Leeming Bar
A crew from Bedale attended an unattended bonfire in a garden. They used a hose reel to put the fire out along with a thermal imaging camera and small tools.
Crews also attended a number of other alarm activations in Pately Bridge, Hipswell and York. These were all false alarms.
