Incident Summary Night Shift Sunday 2nd September

In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names, for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

Malton – Time of call 20:15

Malton crews attended a fire in the open, this turned out to be controlled burning.

Harrogate – Time of call 20:53

Harrogate crews attended a moped fire in Harrogate. 1 hose reel used.

York – Time of call 23:45

Huntington crews responded to a fire in the open in Strensall, this turned out to be controlled burning.

Northallerton – Time of call 00:05

Nothallerton crews responded to a rubbish fire, out on arrival of Fire Service, Inspected by Crews.

Thorpe Underwood

Boroughbridge crews attended an automatic alarm activation, this was a false alarm.

Pannal  - Time of call 00:59

Crews were mobilised to a call for a person locked in a house, unable to get out. Crews gained access using a triple extension ladder.

Pickering – Time of call 01:52

Crews were mobilised to a report of smoke issuing from a flat. This was smoke logging due to an electrical fault with a socket. Crews ventilated property to clear smoke.

East Heslerton – Time of call 06:03

Crew were mobilised to a report of a tree on fire. Tree was out on arrival. Crews used 1 hose reel to damp down area.
