Incident Summary – Night Shift  Wednesday  17th October 2018

In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names, for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

 Along with the incidents listed below we have also attended several false alarms throughout the night.

 18:25     Knaresborough

 A fire crew attended an incident where a small amount of rubbish had been set alight. Crew extinguished the fire.

19:04     Knaresborough

Fire crews from Knaresborough attended a property where a rubbish fire in the garden had been left unattended. Crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.


19:57     Grange Lane, York

Fire crews from York attended an incident where a used firework had ignited the contents of a bin. Crews used a hose reel to extinguish.

20:18     Haxby, York

Crews were requested to attend a premises to assist Ambulance crews to gain entry to a casualty. Crews used a hoolitool and a lock snapper  to gain entry.

05:17     Norton, Malton

Crews were requested to attend a premises to assist Ambulance crews to gain entry to a casualty. Crews used door enforcer to gain entry.
