Incident Summary Night Shift Sunday 17th December

18th December 2017

South View, Hunton TOC: 19:03

Crew were mobilised to a report of a fire alarm sounding and possible smoke in an attic. This was a chimney fire spread to a roof joist and floor boards. Crews extinguished using 2 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reels, chimney kit, hand tools and working at height gear.

 Cambridge Street, Harrogate TOC: 20:11

Crew were mobilised to a report of a bin on fire at the rear of a shop. This was a fire involving a wheelie bin, crews extinguished using 1 hose reel.

Dalton Moor, Dalton TOC: 23:23

Crew were mobilised to a report of a fire alarm sounding. This was a false alarm due to accidental breakage of a call point.

Bramham Drive, Harrogate TOC: 23:45

Crew were mobilised to a report of a fire in a back garden. This was a false alarm as no fire was able to be located.

Hutton Conyers TOC: 00:36

Crew were mobilised to  a report of a fire to a pizza box in a kitchen. Fire spread to a fridge. Out on arrival. Crews removed fridge to open air.

Abbey Walk, Selby TOC: 01:57

Crew were mobilised to a report of a fire alarm sounding. This was a false alarm, cause unknown.

Moor Lane, Newby, Scarborough TOC: 03:30

Crew were mobilised to a report of a fire alarm sounding. This was a false alarm due to a system fault.

Broughton Road, Skipton TOC: 05:17

Crew were mobilised to a report of smoke seen coming from a building. This was a false alarm due to steam from a boiler flue mistaken for smoke.
