Incident Summary Night Shift Friday 23rd March

24th March 2018

In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names, for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

Ripon TOC: 21:20

Crew were mobilised to a report of a fire involving a fan heater. This was a late fire call as fire had been extinguished approx 45 mins prior to informing Fire service. Crews checked for residual fire and gave advice.

York TOC: 22:11

Crew were mobilised to a report of smoke seen in the area. Crews were unable to locate any fire, this was a false alarm due to steam and lighting mistaken for smoke.

York TOC: 22:34

Crew were mobilised to a report of a fire alarm sounding in a premises. This is a false alarm due to an accidental activation of a manual call point.

York TOC: 05:11

Crew were mobilised to a report of a fire. This was a fire involving a fence, believed to have been due to a discarded cigarette, extinguished using 1 hose reel.
