Crew from Thirsk were mobilise to release a person confined in a lift.

Crew from Acomb were mobilised to a report of a fire in a skip. This was out on arrival, inspection only by crews.

 

 

 

Station Lane, Shipton By Beningbrough

Crew from Huntington were mobilised to a report of a fire alarm sounding. This was a false alarm. No sign of fire.

 

 

 

Princess Drive, York

Crew from York were mobilised to a report of a fire in woods. This was a small rubbish fire, extinguished using a backpack sprayer.

Crew from Filey were mobilised to a report of a fire seen by the side of the road. This was a false alarm and was controlled burning with responsible persons in attendance.

Crew from Malton were mobilised to a report of a fire in a caravan. This was a small fire involving a gas hob in a caravan, out on arrival, crews isolated gas and provided first aid to one person suffering superficial burns to the side of the face.

Crew from Thirsk were mobilised to a chimney fire in a cottage. This was out on arrival, crews inspected and used thermal imaging camera to confirm fire was out.

Crews removed a ring from a finger of a person who attended the fire station. Ring cutters used.

Crews from Bedale attended a report of a bin fire in a refuse area. This was extinguished by crew using 1 hose reel jet. Cause believed to be deliberate ignition.

Crew from York were mobilised to 2 persons locked in a car park. Crews released by cutting lock.
