Incident Summary Night Shift Monday 4th June 2018

In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names, for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

TOC 2035 – Harrogate Area

Crews were called to a reports of a fire in the open. Upon investigation the fire was found to be a supervised controlled burn. Advice was given on scene.

TOC 2047 – Ripon Area

Crews attended a property with a chimney fire. Crews tackled and extinguished the fire using a hose reel and chimney adaptor.

TOC 0019 – Skipton Area

Crews were requested by Police to attend reports of a person trapped in a car. Upon arrival of crews the person had been freed from the car. No action was taken by the Fire Service.

TOC 0121 – Hutton Rudby Area

Crews were called in response to a building fire alarm. Upon investigation crews found no fire or smoke at the premises. No further action was taken.

TOC 0413 – Harrogate Area

Crews from Harrogate, Knaresborough and Boroughbridge were mobilised to a report of a fire in a single storey building. Crews used 4 breathing apparatus and 2 hose reels to extinguish the fire.

False alarms:

Crews were called to several false alarms during the course of the night.
