Eastgate, Pickering - Time of call 17:02

Fire crews from Pickering responded to a fire in a washing machine inside commercial premises. Cause of fire was believed to be an electrical fault. Fire was out on arrival of crew however crews made the area safe using thermal imaging camera and small tools.

Lascelles Lane, Northallerton - Time of call 17:31

Northallerton Fire crews attended an automatic fire alarm activation at a residential premises. This was a false alarm caused by cooking fumes.

Thief Lane, York - Time of call 17:35

York and Acomb Fire crews responded to a chimney fire at a domestic property. Cause of fire was accumulation of soot. Crews used one hose reel and chimney rods to extinguish fire.

Shipton Road, Skelton, York - Time of call 18:25

Acomb Fire crews attended an automatic fire alarm activation at a hotel. This was a false alarm caused by steam.

Cold Bath Road, Harrogate - Time of call 19:00

Fire crews from Harrogate responded to an automatic fire alarm activation at a residential property. This was a false alarm caused by cooking fumes

Stockwell lane, Knaresborough - Time of call 19:47

Knaresborough fire crew attended a fire alarm activation at a residential property. This was a false alarm caused by cooking fumes.

High Street, West Heslerton, Malton - Time of call 20:26

Sherburn fire crew attended a chimney fire in domestic premises. This was caused by accumulation of soot. Fire was extinguished using chimney rods, ladders and a hose reel.

Main Street, Hovingham - Time of call 21:03

Helmsley Fire crew attended a chimney fire in a domestic property; cause of fire was accumulation of soot. Crew extinguished the fire using hose reel and chimney rods.

Ings Road, Lower Dunsforth - Time of call 21:20

Boroughbridge fire crew responded to reports of fire sighted in grassland. On arrival crew confirmed this controlled burning and incident was left with the farmer responsible.

Eastfield, Scarborough - Time of call 22:02

Fire crew from Scarborough attended flooding inside a domestic property. The flooding was caused by a joint in a water pipe giving way. Crews isolated the supply of water.

Wigginton Road, York - Time of call 00:26

York fire crews responded to a two year old child locked inside a parked car outside York Hospital. Crews managed to get the keys through popping a window open.

Melbourne Street, York – Time of call 01:25

Crew were mobilised to a report of a fire alarm sounding in a premises. This was a false alarm due to fumes from cooking.

Carelton Road, Skipton – Time of call 01:49

Crew were mobilised to a report of a fire alarm sounding in a premises. This was a false alarm due to a faulty detector.

Station Road, Thirsk – time of call 03:59

Crew were mobilised to a report of a portacabin on fire. This was extinguished using 2 hose reel and a thermal imaging camera.
