Incident Summary Night Shift Monday 10th September 2018

11th September 2018

In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names, for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

Leyburn Time of call:17:44

Crews from Leyburn, Richmond and Colburn were called to a fire in the guttering of a residential property. The fire was out on Fire Brigade’s arrival.

Scrayingham, Malton Time of call: 20:15

Crews from Malton and Huntington attended to a horse that was stuck in a ditch. The crews used large rescue gear and a ladder to bridge. The horse was recued and left in the care of a vet and the owner.

Green Acres, Eggborough Time of call: 23:55

A crew from Selby were called to a car on fire. The crews used a hose reel jet and 2 sets of breathing apparatus to extinguish this. The cause was believed to be deliberate.

York Hospital, Wiggington Road Time of call: 01:20

A crew from York were called to a young male with a ring stuck on his finger. Crews used a ring cutter to remove this.

Stokesley. Time of Call: 05:04

Crew assisted ambulance in getting a female from a premises and into Ambulance to be taken to hospital.

We also attended fire alarm activations in York, Harrogate and Northallerton. These were all false alarms.
