Round up of Incidents for Day Shift 18 April 2016

 09:09   Dish Hill Byram, Selby – Tree Fire

 A crew from Tacaster and a West Yorkshire fire engine attended a tree on fire, the fire was dealt with using one hose reel.

 13:56   Borrage Lane, Ripon – Lift release

 A crew from Ripon attended a property at the above location and assisted four elderly residents to their rooms as the only available lift was broken.

 14:01   Hambleton Drive, Thirsk – Property Fire

 Crews from Thirsk and Northallerton attended a fire caused by a pan left unattended on a cooker, one male was rescued from the property and given oxygen therapy for smoke inhalation, smoke alarms were fitted and raised the alarm.  The fire was out on arrival of the fire service, who then ventilated property.

 16:54   Laverton Gardens, Harrogate – report of smoke in area

 A crew from Harrogate has attended reports of smoke in the area of Laverton Gardens, on arrival they found this to be controlled burning under supervision, advice given to occupier.


 Crews in York and have attended reports of automatic fire alarms today all of which were false alarms.
