Incident Summary for night shift of 20/01/2017

 A172, Swainby

 20:05   2 vehicle RTC. X1 male, aged 73 years, released from an Astra Van by firecrews by use of hydraulic cutting equipment. He, and x2 occupants of the other vehicle, a Vauxhall Astra, all taken to hospital by ambulance with a combination of neck, spinal and seatbelt injuries. The injuries to the 73 year old described as serious. Stokesley and Northallerton crews attended.

 Broughton Road, Skipton

 20:36   Skipton crew attended a fire alarm activation set off due to smoking materials in one of the flats.

 Esplanade Hotel, Belmont Road, Scarborough

 20:38   Scarborough firecrews released x5 persons from a stuck lift by use of lift keys.

 Oak Rise, York.

 20:57   Acomb crew attended a fire alarm activation set off due to a believed system fault in an unoccupied former medical establishment.

 Heslington Road, York

 22:53   York crew attended a fire alarm activation set off due to a system fault within a hospital.

 Airfield Industrial Estate, Elvington.

 23:09   Huntington crew attended a fire alarm activation set off due to a believed system fault in a commercial premises.

 Pond Garth, York

 23:27   York firecrew and a hazmat officer responded to reports of a solvent smell in a carpark belonging to apartments. Source found to be x2 uncovered containers of concrete curing liquid left by builders. Containers capped and moved by firecrews away and to open air as the vapours had been percolating upwards via lift shafts and into the apartments above.
