21.06          Burton Leonard Primary School, Burton Leoanard


Crews from Ripon attended an automatic fire alarm that had activated in the primary school . The crews confirmed the alarm had been triggered by Crews confirmed this to be a false alarm as there was a fault with the fire detection system.


03.30    Gordon Street, Scarborough


Fire crews from Scarborough and Filey dealt with a domestic property fire in Gordon Street.

Crews extinguished the fire which started on the ground floor by using hose reel jets and breathing apparatus. They then ventilated the property using specialist equipment.

The occupants of the premises were given precautionary check ups by paramedics to ensure they were not suffering effects of smoke inhalation.


05.37 Colescliffe Crescent, Scarborough


A fire crew from Scarborough dealt with a fire in a rear garden on Colescliffe Crescent. They used 1 hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
