In order to ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names, for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.


Pike Road, Pickering – Time of call 09:25

Crews from Malton responded to an alarm activation at the community centre. False alarm, cause unknown.

A629, Skipton – Time of call 11:19

Crews from Skipton attended a telehandler on fire. 2 breathing apparatus and 2 hose reel jets used.

North Stainley – Time of call 10:49

Crews from Ripon responded to a grass verge on fire near North Stainley. Out on arrival.

A629, Low Bradley – Time of call 12:24

Crews from Skipton responded to a cow stuck in a canal. Crews used general purpose lines and manpower.

Ouse Bank, Selby – Time of call 14:22

Crews from Selby attended a derelict building on fire at Ouse bank. Cause believed to be deliberate.1 hose reel jet and 1 thermal imaging camera used.

Brayton, Selby – Time of call 15:08

Huntington crews responded to timber on fire near the community centre. Cause believed to be deliberate. 1 hose reel used.

Allerston, Pickering – Time of call 15:17

Crews from Pickering responded to a garden shed on fire. Two hose reel jets used.

Strensall, York – Time of call 16:19

Crews from York responded to a 3 year old child locked in the toilet. Released using hand tools.
